The Foundation

State Institute of Capacity Building (SICB)

Established by the Government of Sikkim, the SICB is the nodal agency driving the skill development revolution across the Himalayan state.

Recognizing the unique geographical and demographic challenges, SICB pioneered the concept of decentralized training by setting up specialized Livelihood Schools across multiple constituencies, bringing high-quality vocational education directly to the youth's doorstep.
